what's with this brokeback mountain thingie! how come i keep hearing it everywhere i go. crap! not as if the show is fantastic or what. anyway, the past two days i heard the term brokeback mountain on two shows. wth?
Joey Season 2 Episode 14 (Joey and the Snowball Fight)
joey picked up a book titled brokeback mountain while he is talking with jimmy (michael's dad, i.e. gina's ex-boyfriend).
joey (scolding jimmy): otherwise i'm gonna come back here and beat you to your senses with this copy of brokeback mountain! hey this is about coybow. you know what? i'm gonna buy this.
joey (talking to zack): so weird though. i keep catching this typo! he kisses her chest.
Gilmore Girls Season 6 Episode 16 (Bridesmaid Revisited)
zack (talking to his bandmates): well, i miss you guys. i didn't mean to get all brokeback mountain on you, but, we're buds you know? i miss you...
i wonder when smallville is gonna be following the same trend. or alias (which i haven't been following for a few months already). or charmed.

initially the title of this post is "the importance of being happy" because i, for once, wanted to post a happy entry. however, that was yesterday night. i didn't finish because i got chased out from my friend's room. this morning, i have no mood to write happy entry. i guess, time of the day matter huh? so i'm going to keep that title for some other entry at a later point in my life. when i am really happy, that is.

just came back from engine helping slam pasting some poster on environmental protection thingie. some girl called gracey asked him to do so. what to do? they very close marh. unfortunately, the girl is taken already. -evil laugh-
well, it looks weird, two guys walking in the dark of the night within engine. later people really think i'm gay sia. anyway, meanwhile, we thought of being more creative and write something. slam thought of writing a song and me a poem. hmm. interesting, we even thought of the title. one is titled 'the painful journey'. the song is about jogging, and the pain he encountered when he tried to run.
he also gave a title for my poem, but i shall not reveal it. it's too, erm, disgusting (especially the first few lines that we thought about.

all right. actually, i'm not as depressed as it appeared to be in the past few entries. those entries were basically a spillover thoughts from my previous life. yes. my life before i entered university. sad right? my life now is not all that bad. well, other than seriously failing one module this semester and some other personal problems, my daily persona is the happy kind. no, that's not simply facade, i do feel happy most of the time. i only got into this depressed mood when 1) i entered my reflective mood (usually when i started writing entries) or 2) -secret-! hahaha.
seriously though. don't get me wrong. don't suddenly equate me with this sad and depressed buffoon (the buffoon part might be correct though ;)). i am not, really.

well, then, let me introduce you to my twin sister, christina. go follow the link the her blog here. her writing style nowadays is very witty and exciting. but they are mostly personal, about guys and stuffs. i think it's the influence of francine pascal's books (sweet valley anyone?) or all the shopaholics she read.
hey, let me tell you a secret. i read sweet valley series before. seriously. that's why i know where she got her writing style from. it's not bad really. but very chick-flickey. so if you didn't want people to think that you're gay or sissy, well, read them in secret! like me. well, i didn't really read them in secret. you know, in secondary school, nobody bothers about what you read. in fact, most of them will siam you when you were seen with books in your hands. but i outgrew that series before i actually finished reading the whole series. when was it? i think i was still in my home country back then. that means before sec 3.
and no, hell no, i don't read shopaholics! sorry to disappoint. one less thing to tease me about.
on a more serious note, i kinda pity my twin sister right now. no, not an act of goodness or what. but if you read her blog, you'll really understand what i felt for her when i read it. or maybe it's just me since i could relate better to her. sigh. i'm not the only one depressed i see.
in case you haven't really noticed, despite our striking similarities, we are not blood kin. she's not my real sister, not to say twin sister. but we've been acknowledging each other as twin. ever since i knew her in sec 3. so yeah.

moving on. i just met another depressed person over msn chat, vivien. she was my jc schoolmate. one of the few ex-schoolmates whom i still keep contact with. the difference is that she's depressed about school. but she told me one thing. she said that she also is getting more reflective nowadays. hence explaining why her blog entries sound more serious and darker.
i'm amazed. remember when i wrote about how university changed people life? well, here is another example. she is at carnegie mellon university now.

btw, the most important news so far this week came out this morning. the new bleach opening and ending. not bad! i like the opening. it's quite catchy.
Tonight, Tonight, Tonight (my own listening)

wah, this jap punk huh! (they really looks like punk, check out their site--i forgot where though.) they can't even pronounce properly. i had hard time getting the lyrics by purely listening to the opening song. that's the best i can do. after that i gave up. let's just wait till Bleach7 put up the lyrics on their site. then i'll repost.
the video is up in YouTube apparently. watch it here!
the video is damn nice lar. unfortunately, looking at it, we seemed to be preparing for a full season of fillers. sadly. i kinda understand why some people stop watching bleach already. it's boring! the fillers is boring and draggy! but i can cope with it. i need my weekly bleach. i'm already bleachified to the core.
from the opening, it really looks as if a lot of the soul society guys are going to come over in gigai to the real world. we saw hitsugaya-kun, byakuya-sama and renji-san and matsumoto taking their gikongai (the soul candy) and got separated from their gigai (rangiku matsumoto was in the background with hitsugaya). we are also treated with the soul society people in their human clothes. they look damn nice lar! a person commented that urahara looks sexy with human clothes and he does really. i have to acknowledge that much.
we also saw at least six bountous under kariya jin, their leader. so i guess, we've quite a lot of enemies to fill at least half the season with bountou story arc. hmm. i hope this season will be the last time we'll see fillers. sigh.
anyway, the opening really looks artistic. i really like it. some notable part includes the first part, where all the mod konpakus and the main characters of bleach walk past ichigo, then kon walked on ichigo's hand. the pose when ichigo wanted to catch kon is really perfect! they are really doing their job. that's like the most memorable part of the opening for me. then there's the part where all the soul society guys are shown in turn after that. also looks good man! another notable part is where renji used his bankai, followed by hitsugaya destroying some wooden thingie, then urahara using his benihime, followed by ichigo in bankai.
the ending for the opening sequence showed ichigo and rukia with all the mod konpakus sleeping. hmm. very suggestive of them. probably this means that at the end, either ichigo and rukia will be damn good friend, or they are going to be couple.
the ending scene is here. not very exceptional though. instead of telling stories upside down, let me just treat you with a picture from the ending. hmm. soifon and yoruichi looks like lesbian there. hmm.
