training madness
i suppose i should write about yesterday. well, after i finished writing yesterday's entry, i went to bathe and then on to training. reached the place at 2, did some warm up and stretching then start practising with a few people. training proper starts at 230 and it was hell. yesterday, the main instructor took our class and we're like doing all sorts of things that really just drains us of water. seriously, all of us sweat like crazy. pain everywhere, losing our breaths, losing strength, etc. it was damn shiok. and that was just the warming up. the main training itself is quite bad. we're so tired halfway through the training that most of us just anyhow do what we were supposed to do. that's how bad it was. no need to think about techniques or whatnot already, just throw in everything you had into the training. lucky the main training was short enough, otherwise, i think all of us will just die.
well anyway, i think it ended at about 415 or 430. then some of us stayed back to train some more. we just trained and trained and trained. learned quite a bit of things yesterday also. i learned how to put my all into one swift movement. something that i already forgot how to do. the result? explosive attack. completely crazy. obviously i sustained some minor injuries also as a result. bleeding here and there. pain here and there. but well that's common, isn't it?
we finished at about 615. then we went to bathe and change. then dinner. went to tiong bahru's steamboat. wasn't bad really. i had some fun there. sir, chris, kok, denise, py, yy, han, and gwen were there also. after that the seven of them, excluding py and me, went to watch some movie. the two of us had to go back though. anyway i was so freakin' tired that i was pretty sure that i was going to sleep my way off the show if i went to watch the show. oh well.
reached home at about 10 plus. again this is the longest time i've spent training. from 2 to 6 plus. that's over four hours. madness! but really love the feeling. it felt as if i went back in time to the time i was in primary six and sec one. then, i practised like mad as well. losing a lot of weight along the way, gaining a lot of speed, flexibility and power also. in fact, then, my explosive attack is much better than it is now. i should be ashamed of myself. i can do a reverse spin attack and 360 attack with the same power as basic attacks. those two attacks are a lot more difficult than all the basic attacks. (granted 360 and reverse spin was my favourite.) well, all right, i guess i just need to practise more often now. yeah. practice make perfect. and for me, i'm going to make sure that i can improve my tehniques many, many folds by the end of the year (not academic year, i mean this year). by the end of the academic year, i should have the power as well.
heh. then i should practise a bit now. yeah, i think i will. okay. seeya.
