tiny droplets of rainfall

short one. the weather is so nice to sleep. it's drizzling outside and it's dark enough to sleep without closing the blinds. just when i said drizzling, the rain got heavier. woot! yay! i'm really going to have a good sleep.

hm. yeah, you guessed it, i didn't have any lesson today, at least not until 4pm. so i'd be able to sleep a deep long sleep after this. another yay! i love friday. i could simply concentrate on my competitions and just do practically little else.

anyway, i slept at 4 this morning. blah! i think it's stupid to sleep too late. but i was too engrossed with my competition to stop half way. yeah, finished about 60% of the work just a few hours after the competition question is posted. i plan to finish 90% by today. or even 100%! and i'll make sure i work hard enough to achieve it. i was stupid last week. had so much time, yet i never work hard enough, ended up not submitting anything. blah!

oh but i got 2nd place for one of the competitions from the week before. still have another one of the competitions (i submitted 2 the week before last) in appeal stage. i should know the result by early next week. i'm so happy for the 2nd place. that's a really good start comparatively. last stage, i ended last in my first ever competition. this time around, i ended up with 175 points, only doing my first project for second stage. it's passed the 4th week already i know and a lot of people had been doing a lot of projects. but who cares! 175 points brought me to number 26 for this stage and number 20 for the collegiate competition. if i could get another 2nd place or 1st place for my other competition, i'll secure i place in top 15 already for both.

anyway, you know, i haven't been talking in msn for a long time now. well, other than, 'hey, can i take ... from you?', or 'are you going for match later?', or 'are you going class tomorrow?'. haha! so yesterday was one of the longest msn conversation i had. thanks anyway, i'd have been very bored otherwise.

next week highlights: block comm election, first cheerleading training of the year, cheer supper, ibg closing (road race)--marking the end of my long year with smu, and training of course! ah, and the end of my competition quals. if by next week i could submit another 2 and win 1st place for both, i'll secure a place in the top 8! (:

song time: catchy tunes, again from American Hi-Fi. i start to really like this band man.

Baby Come Home
American Hi-Fi

I understand your point of view
So what do I say
I've been so underwhelmed before
You've got a lot to prove
Somewhere lines get crossed it's true
It's the nature of things
The longer we can see it through
The more we make believe
Baby likes a blue sky
I don't mind if it's gonna rain on me sometime
Maybe got her mind made up for sure
Baby won't you come back home?

All the people that we love
Disappoint us the most
Makeshift friends and low demands
We're running outta time

My late night call
One way to fall
I miss you still

i just went to storeroom just now. on my way there, i was washed by droplets of rain. it was more like a mist. it's very cooling. damn nice feeling! very refreshing.

Before i met you
Life was slow-mo
So slow-mo
I thought i had it figured out
But you came and turned my whole world upside down
