sniper build

i have to blog this! won 2 games with this new build of mine. and yesterday's game was exceptionally good.

hero: sniper

skill build:
Level 1 - Take Aim
Level 2 - Headshot
Level 3 - Headshot
Level 4 - Take Aim
Level 5 - Headshot
Level 6 - Assassinate
Level 7 - Headshot
Level 8 - Take Aim
Level 9 - Take Aim
Level 10 - Stats
Level 11 - Assassinate
Level 12-15 - Stats
Level 16 - Assassinate
Level 17-21 - Stats
Level 22-25 - Scattershot

item build:
ring of regen, 2 ironwood branches
boots of speed, ogre axe, belt of giant strength -> sange (mix them up)
gloves of haste -> power treads
blade of alacrity, boots of elvenskin -> yasha
sange & yasha
(meanwhile, headress of rejuvenation somewhere will be great. getting a chainmail and then netherezeim buckler is also good when i think i can keep going to farm without dying -> mekansm, also good for team pushes.)
eaglehorn (this one first)
quarterstaff -> butterfly
(if somehow the game doesn't end by now, go for burize, most of the time, you'll only manage crystalis, but who knows? lol.)

for the first few levels, try to deny like hell. seriously deny like hell and try to get all the last hits. it's really possible, it's all about timing and practise. lol. yesterday i managed to get 50% last hits on the first few levels and quite a good deny rate. choose last hits over deny when the choice isn't obvious (both super reds). try to be around during ganking, sniper's headshot is really valuable. and early level assassinate is the bomb. it's literally a one hit kill for those running away hero.

ah, and please, when fighting invi heroes, get wards! sniper can farm damn well, so get wards to help yourself. seriously, nobody will buy wards while it's a really useful item. always carry at least 1 with you when you're facing bone or gondar or sa. during a gank with your allies, if you suspect that they are around (the backstab damage, or if they bought items like radiance, etc where the effects are shown on other units), drop one wards, get your ally stunner to stun him and everyone hits him. nobody can survive that.

if you are forced too, go for scattershot. for example, if your team is definitely on a losing end. scattershot could wipe out a whole creep wave, really good when the opponents are pushing into your base. but always prefer other skills (including stats) to scattershot.

okay, back to committee application then. have fun, while i slog with committee application (i'm calling it hall activities management framework now, HAMF).
