sunset (rag is over)
i just came back from our dinner together as rag dancers. well, in actuality, there were only 9 of us, 8 seniors and a freshie. i realised today how much i love kr (and how much i really love this bunch of rag dancers, seniors and freshies alike). we ate at nydc, spent quite a bit of green paper there. big sigh here. but it's all worth it. i got the chance to talk to people that i haven't talked to before. it's not that hard to talk to them after all. tat, al and em for example.
we actually went back to hall after rag performance at ps. then tat decided to go town for dinner (that was like at 930pm already). at the end we all took taxi to cineleisure. ate at heeren's nydc. sy, al, em, step, tat, wan, wj and a freshie, i think his name is frank. i had some baked rice and king tut's fave (not that nice btw). we stayed there until about midnight. then em, al, frank and i decided to go back while the rest went on to a drinking session. em wanted something from 7-11 but couldn't get it. so at the end we ended up at fong seng to get em some food (she didn't eat at nydc). she also checked the 7-11 there for the food that she wanted. but both 7-11 don't seem to have it (don't ask me what's it, i have no idea really).
well, that's it for life. i should be sleeping now actually. heh.

i realised today how much i would miss rag dancers and all the people around me during rag dance. i can't believe that there'll be no more daily killer trainings. the saddest part is that the next time we are going to do rag again, it'll be at chingay. and not many of us will remain in rag dance. even the 2 choreos (who both did excellent job btw) are leaving. it's a big sigh when you thought of it. it'll be even sadder if you become part of chingay, remembering all the fun you had with the current rag dancers. now i understand why people like yunn could join rag dance for 4 years in a row, even though you have to go through the same hell over and over again every year. make me realised how much i love dance and hall. yes. i really love being part of this family. maybe not very block-oriented like most people. but that's good too. i mean, i have things that i really like. and i have people who like doing the same thing as me.
as a tribute, here are the members of the rag dance this year, divided into 3: punks, aristocrats and mechanics:
punks
shiwei, xiuz, tat, mal, nat, suff, sherry, joncley, sam, steph, rach
aristocrats
jiawen, jin, sher, weil, wee, hui, etc (ah, i can remember the faces but not the name, sigh, as usual)
mechanics
wan, shawn, ezek, eng, sy, pearl, you, mos, alv, step, xin, yunn, jinx, me (the group that i will always remember)
and not forgetting the 2 choreos, jp and wj. i guess it's truly over today. i'll really miss you all. what a day to remember. i can't thank you guys enough. thanks jp for pulling me last minute into the group. i know i whined a lot about it, but i really can't thank you enough. without this, i really would have lost my direction living in hall.
thank you all, rag dancers!

little points to note here and there:
i saw sw's sisters and parents today. it's amazing, she has 3 sisters! and one of them really look like her. really wow!
my twin came to watch the performance today. thank you for coming. haha! really, especially since you came back just to watch our performance.
i saw irene (wong) today. wow, been a long time since i last saw her. she changed a lot. and she's in medicine, just as what she always dreamt. all the best girl! (she's my council junior last time, and also malaysian scholar.)
i realised that i haven't been to orchard for pretty damn long. i only noticed now that times bookshop shift one floor up. oh and fong seng too! one of the stall changed and i only know now.

good night. sweet dreams.
