omg! i have so many "new" songs that i really like! oh, by golly! too many, too many. if i list all the lyrics down here, it'll take a damn long entry! cannot cannot. so let's just put down two of them for now, okay?

heh! work updates? well i started working last monday. that explains my disappearance. no not really, that does not fully explain my disappearance.

well, ever since i started working, my days repeat and repeat and repeat. 815am wake up time. 815-830 adjusting. 830-9am eating breakfast and bathing. 9-930 relaxing a little. 930am waiting at the busstop outside my hall for 51. took a fortyfive to fifty minutes ride to my workplace. usually arrived there at 1030am. take a walk a bit around. punch my card at about 1045 and start working. first half an hour, open the store and clean up a bit. then come the boring bits of just doing nothing. yeah seriously, except for weekends, we only have a few customers here and there and little sales (little still makes up to at least 10k combined). it's fun at least when people start asking about notebook and stuffs. at least i know my stuffs and i could explain easily to them. now i also got used to all the series numbers, like Acer 5502WXMi or Satellite M70-P543 or Asus W5F or HP Compaq Presario V2391TU and the like. at first, it may seem daunting to know all these numbers by heart, but after sometime, even the price comes out to my mind quickly too.

and of course, i learned a lot. i know how they mark up the price of the laptop around here. hahaha! next time i buy a laptop, i also will know how to get the cheapest around. shall i tell you the technique? i think not. come and find me if you want to buy a laptop. within the next three months i can give you cheaper price than standard around. after that, i can always tell you the buying technique or even accompany you buying the laptop. after all, i know the people at my shop quite well already. of course i probably can only help you at that shop (which have more than 10 branches in simlim and funan). other shops would probably recognize my face after that and ban me completely. hahaha!

well, when people say that working as an intern is a piece of boring shit and a period of slogging, i think not. slogging may be. but you seriously learn a lot. and no, no being a coffee-boy or what. we practically divide the work equally. everyone does stock check in turns. everyday somebody (sometime me) will go down to buy lunch for the whole groups (after all, going down to buy lunch means you got a fifteen minutes to half an hour break!). everyday, each one of us will help each other open and close the store. everyday we've got our shares of customers. no, not boring at all, except for those period when there were few customers.

oh, and did i mention the thrill of selling a little piece of expensive goods worth two thousands dollars? wow! you won't be able to just imagine it. after sometime, i got numb to that feeling though. first week quite successful. sold four laptops, earned about 8k for the company. our pay is also based on commission. so now, i've 6% of that 8k. probably beginner's luck though! so we'll see whether next week will be the same okay?

the people there are fun too! although they speak chinese mostly, i'm starting to pick up a little bit of chinese right now. hahaha! i think by the end of the holiday, i should be able to understand half of what they are saying. oh and no worries, i don't feel lonely at all. they speak a good share of english too! so no problem-o!

ah, did i tell you that i also use my 45-minute busride to read a beginner's chinese textbook? now i've got the right level of exposure to chinese. hopefully i'll be ready to take chinese next semester. slam, you better take it next sem. otherwise, i might consider PL1101E (psychology). hehehe!

shit, i've got peanut butter craving. seriously. to be exact withdrawal syndrome. i suddenly want to eat peanut butter so much that my hand actually shakes while spreading the peanut butter on the bread. aiii! i'm so screwed baby! oh, it's peanut butter and chocolate spread btw! i can't take pure peanut butter alone. not so nice! but with chocolate or grape jam, it's damn nice man! deserving a "holy shit"! ah, let's eat another one...

you know, i've been downloading rurouni kenshin for awhile. and it's finally at 91%. another 9% to finish that download. finally. you know how long have i been downloading that? more than ONE month! holy shit! 22GB worth of anime in it. the worst thing is that i've watched most of them at YouTube. so i basically download them for nothing. but once i finished downloading, i'll be able to free 22GB of my harddrive space and have a pristine 22GB for more download. not only that, now that Gilmore Girls and Smallville have reached their respective season finale, i could burn all the avi files to dvd, freeing about 8.5GB of harddrive space. not to mention that charmed is ending too, with a series finale though. kinda sad that charmed is finally over forever. hmm.

shit. it all began with friends ending at 2004. then, charmed is ending this year with its eight season. not to mention that gilmore girls has only one more season (about 22 episodes, hopefully more) to go before it ends too, bagging seven seasons in total. sheesh. all my favourite shows have ended or are ending. i doubt smallville will last more than two seasons from now too! originally, smallville was supposed to end at season four. the writer planned the story to finish as clark kent graduated from high school. but then, it was too popular and was forced to go on for another season at least, this very season five that just ended. we're still expecting at least one season (season 6) and probably another one after that. but i doubt they'll run smallville past his university graduation, which will make it another three years max. well, kryptonsite even has season 6 premiere spoiler up already! they are sure nuts about smallville. ahh. and alias. i haven't been following this one closely now. shall start downloading the whole season asap! once charmed is over too. i only watched alias until this season's sixth episode, lagging behind by about 10 episodes.

sigh. apparently, i'm only uptodate at gilmore girls now. and that's because of the rory-logan arc that's developing nicely. but next year, gilmore girls is losing its two writers, amy-sherman palladino and daniel palladino due to them not wanting to extend their contract by only a year. hopefully the new writer (who have been with gilmore girls for quite awhile) will keep up the great work amy-sherman has built up this year. damn. i already miss the show even though it only ends last tuesday. goddamnit! what to do, been watching this show since its first series premiere six years ago. one of the best i must say, probably second only to friends, which i've been watching since about twelve years ago (yes i was eight or nine only when i first watch friends!). so i should point this info i found from wikipedia, just to ridicule myself (link here):

hmm. yq laughed when i point that out to her. so does sl. hmm. i didn't know that khai and yq also watched gilmore girls. how exciting. oh, yq, btw is a new "acquaintance" from my new CCA. we haven't even met before. only through msn meetings and stuffs. sheesh. this new CCA is really, really tough work man! but i kinda like it. so exciting! especially since this is probably the only thing i could do outside hall next year. i plan to stay on with this CCA until i graduate. after all, i'm one of the department head this year. oh, no worry! no plan to take over the president position at all! seems like a crazy work to me! lucky we've a good president (and founder). yea! he's damn hard working lar! and a dota player too, ex-hall person. now on exchange to france. how exciting his life is. i haven't actually met any of these people in the committee yet, but i guess i'll meet them soon enough. heh. that is, after the president comes back from his SEP.

well, the excitement has to die down after all. i'll be going to sleep soon since i'll be working tomorrow. oh yea, i work a six-day week for about 10 hours a day. i think i forgot to mention that earlier. well anyway, today is my off day this week, but next week it'll be another day. so we'll see! hopefully it's a monday again! because i love a monday off! hehehe!

this song is, surprisingly, by Plumb and not Jennifer Paige. yes, jennifer paige actually sang this song a long time ago, but i think, at least personally, that plumb's version is a much better version. seriously, the background music is far nicer, the guitar is great too!

oh, that reminds me. remember michelle branch's everywhere? imagine that sang by a guy! well, if you couldn't, go and listen to Yellowcard's Everywhere. it's the same song but more rock-ish than michelle branch's version. quite cool in fact, if not a little weird at first.

heh, i realised that this is my longest entry in awhile. hmm. hopefully i could blog more after work. the first week was so tiring that i practically has no energy to write about anything after work. hopefully, once i'm used to it, i could write more about things at work and all. heh heh!
