A proposal for a new hall's Intranet system proposed by sx

Objectives:

1. To create a list of available (and much less importantly, unavailable) girls in the whole hall.

2. To document who and when a specific girl becomes unavailable (or available).

3. To document all current rumours about any girls in the hall.

4. To provide a system by which all hall guys could log in and update the list through hall's Intranet. Any updates must be verified by at least four other guys (all of whose names would be available for other's viewing).

5. To document any declaration made by any guys that he is going after any girls on the list.

Implementation: simple Microsoft SQL Database and ASP.NET 1.1 Web Project.

Proposed Implementers: me (of course, who else would take this kind of project).

Current Status: suspended until next year April Fools day.

wah, he must be desperate man. that guy asked me to compile the list of c-blockers girls who are still unattached. we were having gym session together with hc, cy and nav, when this subject of unattached girls were brought forward. at first it was mild. then they started interrogating me about the c-block girls who were unattached. i think sx started with C301, then C302, then C305, etc. the first few girls he asked are definitely unattached though, so easy answer. then hc asked about C313. hello? how'd i know who stay there? i don't even know where the hell is C313 located. after some guessing, i could guess who stayed there. hmm, hc, got interest huh? but too later lar. she's taken (or at least partially taken) already. hahah! then sx just asked me to do him a list of unattached c-blockers.

well, that was pretty mild of course. then suddenly, they started scrutinizing ME! wth! why me? out of all those guys there, why me? all right, we all know cy has got himself a target and sx is targetless, but then again, why me? still got nav and hc what? well, must be because i accidentally said out that i think i liked somebody. well, it's stupid. it was supposed to be private conversation with sx, then he happily shared with the world. cheh! i didn't even say explicitly that i like a girl or what. they just assumed. then of course, the interrogation was painful. they really squeezed me out. i don't have even the slightest chance to escape. well, but i was strong! i didn't give out any name of strong clues. they were happy enough when i gave them one clue. well, not so big a clue, but could possibly lead them to discover the truth out there (erm, x-files anyone?). though i strongly doubt that. i bet they'd soon forget completely about today's conversation tomorrow. just make sure that i don't appear near them in the next one week or so. then i'd be pretty much safe.

but sx was smart. he used that as a threat. now i really need to come out with that list. hmm. let's see. where's my c-block list.

303 - should be green.
304 - unfamiliar name.
305 - green (definitely, my friend just went out with her for a date, but didn't pursue.)
306 - phantom (p).
307 - green but leaving hall.

313 - red, big big red! the bf from my sec. sch., my batch.
314 - red (at least a yellow, wah! hc, you said above jl's room leh. 313 is not above jl's room, this one is! that's why i was guessing her.)

wah, tiring! damn you lar, sx! i tell you! you better appreciate this list! otherwise i'd probably kill you! that's the 3rd floor girls. shall we move up to the more exciting 4th floor? heheh! this one is seriously more fun. heh!

401 - green, probably going to yellow (my friend suspected, because he saw her going out with this guy friend of him a few time, which according to him was getting uglier since our sec. sch. days.)
402 - unsure. quite a nice girl though. sx, you find out about her lar!
403 - unsure. should be green.
404 - hoho. huge red! she's very, very patient and loyal. what to do! watergirl?
405 - red. 'nuff said.
406 - hmm. unsure. but she's a final year. (just saw her passed by just now.)
407 - red red. unless you want that-guy-who-has-the-same-name-as-me to punch you! better stay out. and i know you respect that guy a lot, so yea. better not. i supposed you also know who am i talking about lar.
408 - exchange student. forget it.
409 - green, i suppose; final year.
410 - hmm. i'm going with green. but also final year. better be nice to her!
411 - interesting. not sure. but i'm going for red this time.
412 - yellow, i guess. some rumours, but they are not together.
413 - i suppose green. hmm, my own chair i don't know, damn.
414 - i'm going for red. but she's also a final year.
415 - unsure. final year. we used to be close, but then i became phantom, while she's already one after her comm duties ended.
416 - green. yellow. green as in not taken. but yellow as in claimed by a guy, and great response from her. i think she just wants to stay single for now. or, they might be red already, although she always says they are only friends (hello! grace told us that all the time, and look at her and all now?)
417 - red, big, big red. unless you wanted to get beat up by a tall, russian maths phd student.
418 - red. a period of green some time ago. but no more. hmm. and she didn't tell me she's going back to my jc for the initiation campfire thing! wah! council election is gone long ago. time went so fast.

sheesh. i think that's enough. going through another floor will kill me. told ya 4th floor is exciting! hahaha! i think 6th floor nothing much lar. actually quite interesting, but i lazy. should i analyse 6th floor too? aiya, may as well continue! just another 18 rooms.

602 - red, red, red! i gave three reds, so you know i'm quite serious. haha! recently attached (or so my sources said).
603 - green. but then again, rumour has it... you know lar! the great c-block rumour! but i kind of hoping it'll become truth one day. that'll be funny to see!
604 - red. at least she was red last semester. shit, i'm damn outdated.

607 - she looks, sounds and feels green. but then again i might be wrong. we never talk about this kind of things during block suppers, etc. archi student leh. maybe too busy. rarely seen her around nowadays.
608 - red, red. careful. but you know, the sister is very pretty. but then again, she's very protective over her sister. so if you ever thought of ..., just be careful.

611 - green. but started going out with a guy. i found out during one of our gossip sessions at a-block rooftop. final year.

cheh, so happy for what? see! my life is so sad, i've to take refuge in this kind of stupid stuffs. call it cheap thrill, whatever. but at least it was kinda fun, for awhile. and today's gym was pretty useless. aih, forget that i ever write this lar. if only. hmm. let me tell you something interesting. i made a pact. whatever i put down in this blog, i shall not take down, unless really, really necessary. i made that pact with myself. that's because i don't want to put heavy censorship on myself. so far, i only censored one post, because it was too suggestive of something that was happening to my life then. one out of forty over posts. not bad already. point is, i'm trying to keep that pact. whatever is already down will be down forever. unless it's typo or mis-information lar! so yea, i guess, i'll just post this one up.

hmm. what is this penchant towards songs titled sorry. first, bic runga. then now lene marlin's sorry. cheh. nvm. shall not post the lyrics of that song now. some other day perhaps. when i'm more comfortable posting such stuffs (otherwise i might just offend a certain somebody, who might, at any chance, be reading this blog). all right. so i voted for ... shit! cannot also! the lyrics is too offensive. not offensive as in rated Parental Advisory or what. it's just too offensive to be put here right now. as with the previous song, it might just offend. shit! this is why i'm very unhappy that day. i have to censor even more than i already had. why? i may as well shift blog again.

very well. i'm settling for my third favourite of the day! the song quite nice. but i don't understand a single thing. it's in french, you see. ;) now you got it. when english lyrics becomes too understandable, go for french one! if even i didn't understand, i doubt many people will. probably only those who took french before. ;)

quite a nice song, if still a little bit behind the other two favourites of the day. quite calming of course. that's the main point, if not a little too short. i really like the building up part that is the last four lines of the first verse and the same four lines on the second verse. unfortunately, i can't follow the build-up itself. the french is too confusing. i can't follow those choir boys singing (i hope they are really boys, i usually don't really dare to guess the gender of the choristers in kids' choir).
