i'm in such a good mood today, even the looming darkness and suffering from the up and coming one-more-day-left chinese paper could not dull my soul.
yiiiihhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
lol!
oh well, started the day nicely with a good breakfast. well, not exactly good. it's fried rice, with burned taste. oh well, better than nothing. and then went back to sleep! wohooooo! slept all the way to 1230pm. gosh! what a way to start the day. then had a good lunch at biz canteen. sumptuous chicken chop with kasewurst (cheese sausage). plus mango sago as dessert (it's a wonder that mango pretty much goes with anything, including sago). went back for an AI dota (yeah, i was a little bored). had a great time otherwise, reading bleach forums and finding out about the new bleach chapter. the day will be made perfect if i could lay my hand on the raw tonight. but looks like the chance is slimming down.
dinner was not bad. it was considerably better than usual. haha! had a little help from edwin for my chinese. thanks lots! reinforce my thought that it's just simply all about memorizing. no bloody thing to learn other than memorizing. tomorrow just need to 背书! hahaha! oh well, 加油!
somehow saw kelly downstairs while on the way to study my chinese. then saw grace too. then saw wingken, just in time. i was just about to go to a blk, to his floor to study. superb right?
then studied more than 50 characters in a span of an hour. not a bad achievement at all! hehehe! meanwhile, read some blog posts, made me happier still! thanks to both writers (to quote one: you know who you are).
meanwhile, yet at another blog (kelly's), somebody is reading man and boy. oh boy! when did i read that book? sec 4 was it? one of the first english books that i could enjoy, since by then my english was much better than its powderful state in sec 3. quite a lovely story, though a little saddening. i think i still couldn't grasp the whole story concept yet. i remembered cruising through parts of the book, having little recollections of what i just read. must be my english. shall try to get my hand on the book (added to my amazon wish list! if you wanna get me anything, please, please check out my amazon wish list, it's updated whenever i want a new book and whenever i bought a new book, just search my name in amazon.com, i described myself quite well so you could easily spot my wish list among the many chris henry in the list).
oh, and she said she wished an author would describe her like those characters in a book. hmm. interesting note there. after exam, i'll attempt to be a writer and write some nice description.
meanwhile, i just ate some belgian chocolate (those seashell-like chocs). not bad. a little soft though. and i still prefer dark chocs to milk chocs. ah, i know how to treat myself tomorrow! shall go to vivocity and shop for chocolate! i know, i'm crazy, but who cares! exam will be over then. i'm sure i'm entitled to some luscious piece of chocolate. i'm also entitled to be broke tomorrow!
people of the day: sean, grace, peklyn, edwin
song of the day: colt 45 by afroman (oh gosh, this song makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. full with expletives and sex stories, but the way it's being told really made me laugh and laugh and laugh.)
food of the day: biz's mango de sago
verse of the day: 2 cor 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." thanks to cherlyn for sharing. glad that it could help other people greatly (and me).
p.s. you'd have noticed that there's lots of formatting going on in my post. i'm trying to experiment with the avant garde arts of using bold and italic to create a better looking piece. oh, that reminds me, i damn hate seeing writing lIKe ThIs, and recently like so many university students around me are using that kind of writing in msn nicks, etc. wah, so primary-school-ish. sorry, it's just me, i just thought it's very childish and act cute. blearggh!
