monday yellows
have you ever had this constant lookout for things to say to her just because you want to see her and talk to her?
---
just had my foundation midterm this afternoon. damn fun! the question is so funny some time. and most of the time, you just need to crap out logical things since most of the things he asked are not in the notes anyway. lol. ah, and i watched the wrong video, so i couldn't answer the 4-mark question about the video. that's 10% up in flame. oh well. i don't even know what's iso 9000 all about. and those critical path method and pert. what the h is pert? pfft!
---
just came back from ld's birthday celebration with steppers at c-block rooftop. got cake, but oh well, i should be dieting, and the cake is ruining my diets.
i tell you, post-it is such a powerful tool, especially if you wanted to talk to a person like sw. doesn't have handphone, pager spoilt, only have phone in her room. so how to contact her when she's out? post-it notes! i better stock up on more post-it notes.
anyway, did manage to talk to her directly instead of through the post-it notes. in fact, just talked to her after the ld's celebration. mundane stuffs. like committee application, etc.
haven't gotten a gift for her birthday yet and it's only exactly two weeks away now. that book better get here fast enough man.

why yellow?
since yellow is such a bright and happy colour. suits my monday this time. but, at the same time, yellow also represents the colour of the sun. bringing to mind the scorching heat of mid-day sun. that's the same feeling i have today. scorched, tired. ah, also emotionally-burdened by certain things, especially that one thing that comes back to mind after a few weeks of successful ridding.
it's not so easy to rid oneself of that emotion.

Love
The Moffatts
The first time I saw you
You were walking down the beach at night
With the waves bowing down to you in the bright moonlight
Well it must have been a signal from up above
'cause deep in my heart I knew that it was love
[Chorus:]
And it turns me on
Like when the sun goes down
And the moon comes up
Sweet, sweet love, like no other man has been touched
By the simple process of love I wish there were a way
To show you my love is real
But Webster hasn't found the words
To express how I feel
Well just like a river needs the rain to flow
You've warmed a heart that once was cold, with your love
[Chorus(repeat twice)]
yeah, right. idealistic youths i must say. i used to like this band last time. the songs are not bad really. but then, i couldn't really follow the lyrics last time, owing to my poor english. now that i can listen and understand the lyrics perfectly, well, idealistic really comes to mind. it's good to be idealistic, but it doesn't really work in life apparently. at least most of the time.
i've got the feeling (sung by ivy) that i will by posting quite a bit of moffatts lyrics in the near future. i just managed to download the whole moffatts' first album (that is, the album that i like). so yeah. even now, i'm listening to a few of their songs already, and really recalling my early teenhood.
isn't it funny how time seems to slip away so fast?
laugh out loud (resigned over wasted years).
